I am selling a great looking, smoothly running 1982 DeLorean. It can be used as a daily driver or weekend/show car. If you want a project car, look elsewhere. I took it out of winter storage in March and it is running beautifully.
This car will have you “living the dream” from Day 1. Do not take it out if you are not interested in talking to a LOT of people and fielding a LOT of questions. This car gets stares, points and open mouths whenever I take it out. It’s truly amazing how happy and excited it makes people. |

| History of Car |
I purchased the car from Lawrence Lormand from Michigan, who restores DeLoreans for a living. His web site is http://www.myspace.com/lawrencesdelorean. He purchased the car from the original owner, who had it garaged for most of its life. It had only traveled about 6,000 miles when I got it.
I’ve spent the last three years identifying and correcting problems by paying excellent service people with strong DeLorean knowledge to repair them and replace original parts (see service record). I’ve also put a lot of money and time into upgrades to the car, see the list under Upgrades.
Although I live in Massachusetts, the car was driven only in nice weather – it was carefully stored each winter and has never seen snowy or salty roads. It runs extremely smoothly at idle and at high speeds.
All known or anticipated problems have now been addressed except for the ones listed under Known Issues. All receipts of work done were kept and will be provided to the new owner. |

The price for the car is $22,000. I am not in a rush to sell so no hardball tactics please. I want to find the right owner, someone who will appreciate this car as much as I have.
